Since 1978, CK Production has been a part of the Danish plastics industry. When Christen Skytte and Kurt Nissen founded the company, it was in modest surroundings with just 500 m2 of rented facilities and five employees.
Four years later, production moved to larger facilities in Billund. Following a change of ownership in 1992, Alfred Skov Madsen took over the company, leading it through three decades until 2022.
Under Alfred’s leadership, production facilities were continously expanded. Today, we operate from 6500 m2 of modern production facilities, housing everything from development and manufacturing to warehousing and logistics.
Chresten and Kurt found ’Plast, Metal og Produktion’ in Dons near Kolding. Their initials are the origin of the company name we carry today.
We moved into our newly built factory with 1200 m2 of production facilities at Kløvermarken 312 in Billund, where you can still find us today.
CK Production aquires the injection molding operations from Modulex in Billund.
CK Production aquires all activities in the Nibe-based company Sander Plast, and their production is relocated to Billund.
CK Production aquires Korona Plast in Sønderborg, with alle company activities and production transferred to Billund.
Vink Plast takes over CK Production and we become a part of the Vink Group – one of Europe’s leading plastics groups. Al injection molding is consolidated at CK Production in Billund.
At CK Production, working with ESG and responsibility is nothing new – on the contrary, we have been working purposefully with quality, the environment, and the working environment for many years.
Our work is based on ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, as well as the UN's Sustainable Development Goals 5, 8, and 12, which address gender equality, decent jobs and economic growth, and responsible consumption and production.
